Drawing Fundamentals: Assignment 3 (Power of Perspective)
This week’s course was about the power of perspective. We learned about 1, 2, and 3 point perspective. I am still learning and have a few questions regarding starting points, but all in all I feel much better about my approach and ability to use points to create perspective images.
The homework assignment was to draw the White House image below. I had a lot of fun, and I think it turned out pretty well. I would have liked to spend a bit more time on the plants and foreground, but all in all I am happy with it for not tracing it (definitely a temptation when you are working on a cintiq).
